The Writer Writing Fiction

The Writer Writing Fiction:

Everything from scripts/screenplays to YA novels. NSFW blog at times.

Writer. I write about couples, mental health (psychological disorders), social issues, and relationships. Hell yes, you'll find pop culture allusions in my work.

Ultimate dream: write the next big contemporary teen drama (tv series) and have it on television!

This is my sanctuary for written, visual, & audio inspiration and manifestation for my writing and stories! Horror, scary, psychological, love, relationships, sex, family, couples, quotes, and all that good stuff. Pretty conflicting and complex, but who isn't?

If an agent requests a full but also asks for the number of agents who are currently considering "your work," is that how many agents who also have the full or those who still have your query? Do you have to give a specific number?

Currently considering your work generally means who has the manuscript, not just the query, but you could always say something like you’re querying widely and you have a handful of fulls with agents. Or something. Use your best judgement.

Hello I have a book where the MC is 18.5/19 and is in college would this be considered as New Adult? Also would anyone at New Leaf take on this sort of book?

I've sent a query to your office. It got rejected. But I reworked it. Can I resend?

Just imagine how many times in his life he’s told Sam ‘alright, time for bed’, how many times he carried his brother to his bed and tucked him to sleep. Even when Sam is in his twenties, this is the most natural thing for Dean to do.
